Mission

ZAYA provides world-class supplemental education to children ages 6 to 13 years old with our after school learning “Labs”.
Each ZAYA Learning Lab is powered by our personalized blended learning approach with the specific goal of bridging the achievement gap for primary education. We have designed our blended learning model to work anywhere in the world, with any income group, but our primarily focus is on the bottom of the pyramid..

Vision

At Zaya, we fundamentally believe that:

• Every child can and should receive a great education
• Anyone can be an educator (with the right facilitation skills and training)
• Any space can be used as a place of learning

With the appropriate filters, screening, training, technology, content and quality controls we want to enable a much wider pool of people and spaces to participate in the education economy. While we are starting with afterschool education, we believe all education will be democratized in this fashion with small semi-formal groups forming and teaching each other at the neighborhood level.
